Yesterday in the Government of the Russian Federation the question on was dealt with to what department to assign responsibilities on accreditation of bodies on certification and the testing laboratories (centres) performing works on acknowledgement of conformity of production, intended for children and teenagers.
The ministry of an industry and commerce of Russia has offered the decree project according to which the indicated authorities will be assigned to Federal agency on technical regulation and metrology. The technical regulations about safety of production, intended for children and teenagers, are developed according to the Federal statute "On technical regulation", and, according to these technical regulations, acknowledgement of conformity of the goods for children and teenagers is conducted in the form of certification and declaring. As according to the Russian legislation active regarding maintenance of conformity in the last years, on certification and testing laboratories (centres) Rostehregulirovanie Minpromtorg suggests this department to entrust and accreditation of bodies on certification and the testing laboratories (centres) performing works on acknowledgement of conformity of production, intended for children and teenagers attends to accreditation of bodies.
